Product Designer Details
The Product Designer allows you to view and edit products modeled with Faktor-IPS in the browser. With the web app, products can be designed and customized completely without Eclipse.
Features, use cases, presentation and layout have been rethought especially for the Product Designer and present the product information in a modern and clear way. A search with various filter options and an overview of all usages of a component make it easy to manage products, tables and enumerations.
A product tree view allows a quick and clear overview of all connected product components and tables. Product components and tables can be added, deleted and edited from here – for simple, efficient and intuitive product maintenance.
Of course, completely new product components and tables can also be created. Input fields specially developed for the Product Designer and validations during editing make it possible to edit components in an unprecedented way.
Necessary features familiar from Faktor-IPS, such as adaptor stages or the creation of new generations, complement and round off the image of the Product Designer and enable the editing of Faktor-IPS products in a completely new way.
